Evangelism from overflow.
When you have truly been with Jesus, the natural response is to want to tell the world about Him. You can’t keep Him to yourself. When you experience Him, when you see Him, when you hear Him, when He speaks to you, when He becomes real to you, something happens on the inside. Your natural response is to tell others.
We must not complicate it.
Look at the woman at the well.
She didn’t stop and say, “Jesus, how am I going to tell people about You? What am I supposed to say? How am I going to do this?”
She simply went.
She had encountered the Messiah. She had received a revelation of who He was, and she couldn’t contain it.
“Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?”— John 4:29
She left her waterpot, went back into the city, and invited people to come and meet the Man she had encountered.
Her encounter became her message.
That’s what happens when you’ve truly been with Jesus.
Evangelism is not meant to be forced or complicated.
When Jesus becomes real to you, you simply cannot keep Him to yourself. Your encounter becomes your message. And what overflows from your heart points people to Him.
